Sophomore - Chicago, Ill.
Perez helped Ripon win the Ripon Invitational on Saturday, finishing first among all collegiate individuals. She ran a 6K time of 24:44 to win the meet.

Abrah Masterson - Cornell College
Freshman - Granby, Colo.
Masterson was the top freshman finisher and led the Rams to a runner-up team finish at the 12-team Les Duke Invitational Saturday in Grinnell. She finished fourth out of 151 competitors in 23:01 at the 6K distance. Masterson finished behind three runners from No. 2 nationally-ranked Wartburg. The Rams scored 76 points and beat the other four Midwest Conference teams at the meet.

Sarah Burnell - Grinnell College
Senior - Grinnell, Iowa
Burnell finished 20th in a 251-runner field to lead the Grinnell College women’s cross country team at the competitive St. Olaf Invitational on Saturday. Burnell had a clocking of 23:33 and currently ranks third in the MWC. Her efforts helped the Pioneers to an eighth-place team finish.

Masterson placed ninth out of 221 runners at the Rhodes Invitational in Memphis, Tenn. She was second among all Division III competitors in the 25-team field with a time of 22:43. Masterson helped the No. 8 regionally-ranked Rams to an eighth-place team finish with 198 points.

Elvia Martinez - St. Norbert College
Senior - Waukesha, Wis.
Martinez ran a lifetime best 6K time of 23:04.96 to finish in 15th place at the Division III Pre-National Cross Country Invitational at Hanover College. Martinez was the top finisher from the Midwest Region at the event coming in 15th place overall out of nearly 300 runners. She currently has the 4th fastest time in the Midwest Conference.

Masterson claimed her first collegiate race title in a field of 62 runners at the Lamb-Kohawk Invitational in Cedar Rapids. She covered the 6K distance in 23:20, beating her closest competitor by 32 seconds. Masterson led the No. 9 regionally-ranked Rams to the team crown with 20 points.

Junior - Beardstown, Ill.
Flores helped the Lady Blues to their first team win of the season on Saturday at the Benedictine University in Springfield Invite. Flores clocked a time of 20:39.04 in the women’s 6K race, good enough for second place among individuals.
