For the first time since the 2002 season there are co-champions at the completion of the MWC Football season. St. Norbert and Lake Forest share the MWC Football Championship this season, both finishing the season with 8-1 conference records.

St. Norbert and Lake Forest also share the same overall records, 8-2, but it will be the Green Knights who will earn the MWC's automatic bid to the NCAA championship thanks to a 20-10 victory over the Foresters on Saturday, the final regular season game of the season.

The championship is St. Norbert's14th in school history and for Lake Forest it is the third championship. St. Norbert will play in NCAA Division III Playoff first round game on Nov. 17.
