RIPON, Wis. – The Midwest Conference (MWC) would like to officially announce a complete redesign of midwestconference.org. In collaboration with SIDEARM Sports the official conference website has a new sleek design that will simplify the information and focus on the league’s social media innovations. This is the second version of the website since moving to SIDEARM Sports in 2010.
The new version has been simplified to help you get to the information quickly while still keeping the content in a familiar place. The website has the same three column layout with the main navigational headings running down the left hand side of the screen where you can find information under the same headings as the previous MWC page. The center column features a larger header photo and additional feature stories.
Down the right hand side of the screen you can find videos from the MWC YouTube page which includes postseason interviews and in-season features during the school year. Under the video section you can find the conference Twitter feed to follow the happenings from the league and its 11 institutions without having to leave the main page.
Other features include moving the advertisement spots from the lower right hand column to right below the features stories. This is the area where you can find information on MWC tournaments and championships, the conference web streaming portal, and the MWC Apparel website just to name a few. Below the advertisement spots are tabs for the schedule, results, standings, and stories and will serve as a one-stop shop for game day information including live audio and video to specific games as well as box scores for past games.
As the 2013-14 academic year begins, we hope you enjoy the new MWC online headquarters. Fans are also encouraged to follow the MWC on [

Facebook], [
YouTube], and the newly created [
Instagram] account as you can find all of those links on the sticky bar that is affixed to the bottom of your screen.
