LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – Two Midwest Conference (MWC) student-athletes will compete in the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday at the E.P. “Tom Sawyer” State Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
MWC individual champion and Lawrence University sophomore Cristyn Oliver and Grinnell College junior Emma Schaefer qualified for the National event as part of the 70 individuals chosen outside of team qualifiers.
Oliver competed at the North Regional meet, clocking 22:33.92 in the 6k for a 13
th place finish.
Grinnell College junior Emma Schaefer raced in the Midwest Regional, posting a 6k time of 22:30.0 for a 22
nd place finish.
The women’s race is set to begin at noon eastern time, following the men’s race. A live web stream of the championships will occur on the NCAA
website beginning at 11 a.m. Eastern until the conclusion of the awards ceremony. Live timing and results can be found
