GRINNELL, Iowa – For the first time since 1999, Ripon College earned the Midwest Conference (MWC) men’s basketball regular-season crown.
 
The Red Hawks closed Conference play with a 13-3 record and will host the MWC Men’s Basketball Tournament as the top seed on February 25-26, 2022. The winner will claim the tournament title and advance to the NCAA Tournament with the league’s automatic berth.
 
In addition to Ripon, Cornell College and Grinnell College clinched spots in the four-team tournament field as the second and third seeds, respectively.
 
A Tuesday matchup against Knox and Illinois College will determine whether the fourth and final spot goes to the Blueboys or Lawrence University.
