Foresters Make Third Consecutive NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament Appearance

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – For the third consecutive year, Lake Forest College will represent the Midwest Conference (MWC) in the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship.
 
The MWC Champion and Tournament Champion Foresters (10-7-3) will travel to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to face the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (15-1-4) in Friday’s first-round matchup at 1:00 p.m.
 
Lake Forest secured its NCAA Tournament spot by defeating Illinois College 2-1 in Saturday’s MWC Tournament final, capturing its tenth tournament crown and the league’s automatic bid. This marks the Foresters' eleventh NCAA Tournament appearance.
 
Wisconsin-Eau Claire, also making its third consecutive NCAA postseason appearance, earned the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) automatic qualifier after sweeping both the regular season and tournament titles. The Blugolds will host the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
 
Hope College (13-2-3) and DePauw University (10-4-6) will compete in the second match on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
 
The winners of Friday’s matches will advance to Saturday’s regional final at 1:00 p.m.
