TEMPE, Arizona – The 2024 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Men’s and Women’s academic awards were released this week with 11 Midwest Conference (MWC) programs earning All-Academic Team distinctions and 73 individuals receiving Scholar Athlete honors.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade-point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), have all student-athletes included listed on the institutional eligibility form, and all varsity letter winners are factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
On the men’s side, Cornell College, Grinnell College, Lake Forest College, Lawrence University, and Monmouth College picked up All-Academic Team recognition, while Cornell College, Grinnell College, Lake Forest College, Lawrence University, Monmouth College, and Ripon College were awarded accolades on the women's side.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, individuals must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
The 73 student-athlete honorees from the MWC include 33 men’s tennis players and 40 representing women’s tennis. The full list of ITA Scholar Athletes can be found below:
