Lake Forest and Beloit Highlight MWC Men's Soccer Awards; All-Conference Teams Released

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – Lake Forest College took home three of the four major awards as Midwest Conference Men’s Soccer All-Conference honors were announced on Thursday morning.
 
Peter Cirbo was named the MWC Offensive Player of the Year, while Alexis Flores picked up Defensive Player of the honors. Beloit College’s Eziah Hernandez was named the league’s Newcomer of the Year.
 
Cirbo had a magnificent offensive season leading the Foresters to 19 wins and the MWC regular season and tournament titles. In MWC action, he led the league with six assists and two game-winning goals. He also finished conference play tied for third in points (10), tied for fifth in shots (21) and tied for fifth in shots on goal (9).
 
Flores anchored a defense that allowed just four goals in Midwest Conference play. He helped the Foresters to six shutouts, as Lake Forest did not allow a goal in its final five conference matches.
 
Hernandez burst onto the scene as a freshman, appearing near the top of the conference leaderboards in a number of categories. Throughout MWC play, he led the conference with 14 points, tied for the league lead with six goals, tied for second in shots on goal (11) and finished tied for fifth in overall shots (21).
 
Lake Forest head coach Dan Andrews and his assistants Kyle Jones and Sean Avila were named the 2025 Midwest Conference Men’s Soccer Coaching Staff of the Year. Andrews guided the Foresters to a fourth consecutive MWC Tournament title, fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and a 19-1 record leading up to the NCAA Tournament. Andrews also eclipsed 100 career wins with the MWC Tournament final victory last Saturday. The full list of honorees is below.
