Twelve MWC Football Athletes Named All-Region by D3football.com

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – D3football.com announced its 2025 All-Region Teams on Wednesday, and 12 Midwest Conference student-athletes earned All-Region 5 honors.
 
Monmouth College senior linebacker Ethan James and senior safety Damien Brown were named to the First Team Defense for the league’s highest all-region honors.
 
The Second Team Offense included Monmouth senior tackle James Conner and University of Chicago sophomore kicker Walter Kilgore, while Lake Forest College’s senior defensive tackle Michael Kelley was named to the Second Team Defense.
 
Five players were named to the Third Team Offense, with four coming from Lake Forest: freshman tight end James Jordan, senior guard Vinny Colasacco, freshman tackle Kennedy Washington and sophomore kicker Hudson Schambach. Monmouth junior running back Nate Wrublik was also named a third team all-region performer.
 
On the Third Team Defense, Monmouth senior defensive end Anthony Cikauskas and Chicago senior defensive tackle Zach Meyer were recognized.
 
In 2021, NCAA Division III realigned football into six regions. Region 5 includes the American Rivers Conference, the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, the Midwest Conference, and the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
 
The teams, selected in balloting by Region 5 sports information directors and D3football.com staff, were chosen from 141 nominations by full Division III member schools. A total of 78 players were chosen. Players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced Monday, Dec. 22, 2025.
