Grinnell's Feilmeyer Places 24th in 200 Butterfly at NCAA D-III Championships

GREENSBORO, North Carolina – Grinnell College's Evan Feilmeyer '28 grabbed 24th place in the 200-yard butterfly in Friday's prelims at the NCAA Division III Championships.
 
Participating in his first individual event at nationals, Feilmeyer swam the race in 1 minute, 50.12 seconds at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
 
Grinnell was disqualified in its other event, the 200 medley relay.
 
The meet concludes Saturday with Rommin Adl '26 and Kevin Fitzgerald '25 slated to compete in the 100 freestyle and those two, along with Feilmeyer and Aidan Donovan '28, in the 400 freestyle relay.
