Indianapolis, Indiana – Ripon College is set for its first-round matchup in the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Tournament. The Red Hawks will take on the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Friday, March 7, at 7:15 p.m.
Ripon (23-4 overall, 15-1 MWC) advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season and the eighth time in program history after sweeping the Midwest Conference regular-season and tournament titles.
UW-Stout (19-7 overall, 10-4 WIAC) also returns to the postseason for the second straight year. The Blue Devils finished second in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) and earned one of 21 at-large bids, securing both their tournament spot and hosting rights for the first and second rounds. This marks UW-Stout’s 11th NCAA Tournament appearance.
Whitman College (26-1 overall, 16-0 NWC) and the University of Wisconsin-Superior (17-10 overall, 11-3 UMAC) will tip off the weekend in Friday’s first game at 4:45 p.m.
The winners of both games will advance to play on Saturday, March 8, at 7:15 p.m. All games will be held at UW-Stout’s Johnson Fieldhouse.
