OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – The Midwest Conference (MWC) announced its Performers of the Week award recipients for games played September 22-28, 2025, on Monday.
MWC sports information directors nominate student-athletes for the Performer of the Week honor by sport and vote as a committee to select the winners.
For the fall season, Performers of the Week will be recognized every week on Monday (football, soccer) and Tuesday (cross country, women’s tennis, volleyball) once their seasons have been triggered (three MWC institutions competing) and will conclude the week prior to the sport-specific Conference tournament/championship.
The Performer of the Week award winners are as follows:
Men’s Soccer Offensive Performer of the Week
Demi Oni, Grinnell College
Oni assisted Grinnell’s opening goal at Lawrence University on Saturday and then scored the game-winner with under five minutes left in the Pioneers’ 2-1 victory. On the goal, he tracked down a massive kick by the Grinnell keeper on the right side of the field, took a few touches toward the box and lofted a perfect strike into the upper left part of the net.
Men’s Soccer Defensive Performer of the Week
Sam Satisky, Lake Forest College
Satisky helped Lake Forest post a pair of shutouts while also making an impact at the offensive end of the field in both games last week. After assisting on the only tally in Tuesday's 1-0 victory over Carroll, he headed in the first goal of a 2-0 triumph over Knox to open league play on Saturday. Satisky played all 90 minutes in each game and the Foresters limited their opponents to just five shots on goal in the two contests combined.
Women’s Soccer Defensive Performer of the Week
Kate Noonan, Lawrence University
Noonan was a lockdown force in Saturday’s MWC opener against Grinnell. She contributed to a 2-0 win by recording an assist while also scoring a goal.
Women’s Soccer Offensive Performer of the Week
Morgan Kistler, Monmouth College
Morgan Kistler scored in both games for Monmouth this week, tallying three goals. On Saturday, she scored the first and second goals in the Scots 3-1 MWC opening win against Beloit. She scored less than 9 minutes into the game and made it 2-0 later in the first half. The Scots led 3-0 at half and won the game 3-1. Kistler also scored early at Simpson on Wednesday, giving the Scots a 1-0 lead 3:36 into the contest. She leads all freshmen in the MWC in goals (8) and points (18) while ranking 3rd overall in both categories.
