OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – After a successful Darren Young Classic, the Grinnell men’s indoor track and field program was a big mover in the latest Track & Field Rating Index (TFRI) checkpoint from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, released by the organization on Tuesday morning.
Moving north eight spots over the course of a week to #16 nationally, the Pioneers are credited with 33.43 points – all through individual events. Lucas Fadden holds the top 60-meter dash time in the country (6.66 seconds) and the sixth-fastest 200-meter dash time (21.78) as the senior is credited with all of Grinnell’s points.
Grinnell heads to Iowa (February 20) and Wartburg (February 21) for meets on the final weekend of the regular season.
