OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – St. Norbert College’s Ashley Mako and Adelle Polzin, along with Grinnell College’s Alex Kruse, have qualified for the NCAA Division III diving regionals as announced by the NCAA on Wednesday.
Mako and Polzin will compete in Kalamazoo, Michigan, at Kalamazoo College on Friday and Saturday (February 27-28) in the Region 1 event. Kruse punched her ticket to Atlanta, Georgia, for competition at Emory University in the region 2 competition on the same two days. Mako was named the Midwest Conference Women’s Newcomer of the Year at last weekend’s conference meet. She was the runner-up to Kruse in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events.
Polzin earned All-MWC honors in the 1-meter competition at the conference meet last weekend, taking third place. She also took fourth in the 3-meter event.
The women’s one-meter competition takes place on Friday beginning at 1 p.m., while the three-meter event is on Saturday at 11 a.m. at both venues. Fans can follow the action at both sites via the following links: Kalamazoo (
