OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – Owen Pittenger of the St. Norbert College men’s swim and dive program and Jackson Bertman of the Lawrence University men’s swim and dive program have been selected to participate at the NCAA Division III Region 1 diving competition, as announced by the NCAA on Wednesday.
Both athletes will head to Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan, for competition on Friday and Saturday (February 27-28). In order to qualify for regionals, a diver must meet or exceed a predetermined score on the same board twice in a season.
Pittenger starred at the 2026 Midwest Conference Men’s Swim and Dive Championships last weekend. On his way to being named the MWC Men’s Diver of the Year, Pittenger claimed event titles in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions.
Bertman picked up a pair of All-MWC honors at the same event, taking second in the 3-meter competition and third in the 1-meter competition.
The men’s three-meter competition takes place on Friday beginning at 1 p.m., while the one-meter event is on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Twenty-two males have qualified for competition in Kalamazoo, while the top eight finishers will advance to the NCAA Division III Championships. The NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships are scheduled for Wednesday, March 18 through Saturday, March 21 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
