OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – Monmouth College forward Zay Brown was selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District 9 first team on Tuesday as announced by the NABC.

This is Brown’s second All-Region/All-District honor of the season, as the two-time Midwest Conference Player of the Year was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region team on Monday. Brown averaged 19.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in 2025-26, helping the Fighting Scots reach the MWC Tournament final. In each of his first two seasons at Monmouth, Brown has been named first team All-District by the NABC.

The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division III. Six players were selected to the first team in each of the 10 districts, while five players were named to the All-District second team. One coach and one player from each district were chosen as the district coach and player of the year, respectively. UW-La Crosse’s Sam Grieger was named the District 9 Player of the Year, while Justin DeGrood of Gustavus Adolphus was named the District 9 Coach of the Year.

The NABC All-America teams will be announced in the coming days.
