Grinnell Men's Basketball Selected to Illinois Wesleyan Regional

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – Following back-to-back Midwest Conference Tournament titles, Grinnell College has learned its 2026 NCAA Tournament destination as the Pioneers will travel to Bloomington, Illinois for the regional hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University.
 
Grinnell (22-3) will take on John Carroll (22-6) in the first round on Friday, March 6 inside the Shirk Center. The host Titans (23-4) play Heidelberg (16-12) in the other matchup. The Pioneers have won 12 consecutive games, winning 20 of their last 21 games dating back to mid-November.
 
Both first round games will be played on Friday, March 6, while the second round is set for Saturday, March 7. All game times are TBD. The third round will be played on campus sites Friday or Saturday, March 13 or 14, while quarterfinals and semifinals are in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 19 and 21. The National Championship is scheduled for Sunday, April 5 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
