Grinnell Men's Tennis Ranked 38th by ITA in Latest Poll

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – The Grinnell College men’s tennis program has entered the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Men’s Top 40 Coaches Poll as announced by the organization on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Sporting a 7-2 record in the 2026 spring season, Grinnell owns a ranked win over then-#35 UW-Whitewater while also recording victories against Midland, Wheaton (Ill.), Wabash, UW-Stevens Point, Carleton and North Central (Ill.)
 
Grinnell is off until March 15, when the Pioneers kick off their spring break trip with a road match against #23 Christopher Newport. Grinnell also faces ranked opponents Kenyon (#13) and Mary Washington (#20) on the trip, in addition to unranked Virginia Wesleyan.
 
The ITA Top 40 Coaches Poll is voted on by the ITA National Ranking Committee. The National Ranking Committee is made up of the four ITA Region Chairs and a National Chair, with each chair casting an individual, secret ballot. The next team rankings are released on Wednesday, March 25.
