Rams Stand Pat in Seventh TFRI Checkpoint

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – The Cornell College men’s outdoor track and field program continues to be ranked 19th in the latest Track & Field Rating Index (TFRI) checkpoint from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, released by the organization on Tuesday morning.
 
With 68.88 points, the Rams have four top 45 marks nationally. Isaac vanWestrienen holds the nation’s top times in both the 5K and 10K while also ranking 19th in the 1500. His teammate, Jacob Bach, sits 45th in the 1500.
 
Cornell was the runner-up in the team standings of the 2026 Midwest Conference Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships last weekend. The Rams will compete at NCAA Final Qualifier meets this week before selections are announced on Friday for the 2026 NCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held May 21-23 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
