Men's Outdoor Track and Field Sees Five Athletes Qualify for Nationals

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – The NCAA announced the qualifiers for the 2026 Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday night, with five Midwest Conference men’s athletes earning berths to nationals in five different events. The three-day event will take place on May 21-23 at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin, hosted by The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
 
Beloit College will send two athletes to La Crosse, as Nathaniel Otis qualified in the 400 hurdles and Joshua Martinez Marte will compete in the discus. Cornell College’s Isaac vanWestrienen will run in two distance events, as the senior holds the top times in the country in the 5K and 10K. Illinois College’s Melvin Hodge (hammer) will also compete in La Crosse.
 
For each individual event, the top 22 declared student-athletes earned a place in the championship field.
