Cornell Hosts 2026 MWC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – Cornell College is set to host the 2026 Midwest Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday (May 8-9).
 
The championship starts with field events on both days, beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Friday and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The men will race first in all track events.
 
Illinois College claimed last season’s outdoor conference title, its first in school history. Grinnell College was picked to win this season’s crown in the preseason coaches’ poll.
 
In Tuesday’s latest USTFCCCA Midwest Region Rankings, Illinois College is 14th, Monmouth College is 15th and Grinnell is 20th. Outside the top 20, Cornell sits 21st and Knox College is 27th. In the North Region, Ripon College leads the league at 20th, while Lawrence University (26th) and Beloit College (32nd) follow.
