ST. LOUIS, Missouri – The Grinnell College women's tennis program saw its NCAA Tournament run come to an end in the second round with a 5-0 loss to Kenyon College on Friday afternoon at the Tao Tennis Center.

The Pioneers fell into an early 1-0 hole after doubles after the Owls won all three courts. Kenyon had similar success in singles – winning five first sets – and clinching the match with straight-set victories on courts one, two, four and five.

Grinnell ends its season at 17-7. The Pioneers won their sixth consecutive Midwest Conference Tournament title and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the sixth consecutive season.
