NEENAH, Wisconsin – A quartet of Midwest Conference (MWC) cross country teams remain among the USTFCCCA’s regionally ranked programs following the release of the Week 2 Regional Rankings on Tuesday.

The MWC continues to be represented by three women’s programs, with Cornell College and Grinnell College ranked in the Midwest Region and Ripon College appearing in the North Region. The Grinnell men also remain among the Midwest Region’s ranked programs. All four programs have now been ranked in each of the first three USTFCCCA regional rankings.

Cornell moved up one spot to No. 6 in the Midwest Region after appearing last week at No. 7. The Rams continue to be led by strong individual performances, highlighted by Lidia Dahlman’s runner-up performance at last weekend’s Gil Dodds Invitational where the Rams took second as a team.

The Grinnell women sit at No. 8 in the Midwest Region after being ranked No. 6 last week. The Pioneers were the top-finishing non-NCAA Division I team at Friday’s Bradley Intercollegiate meet, placing third in a field of 12.

The Grinnell men’s team climbed one spot in the Midwest Region, moving from No. 10 to No. 9. The Pioneers also turned in an impressive performance at the Bradley Intercollegiate, finishing runner-up in the 14-team meet.

In the North Region, Ripon is ranked No. 10 following a No. 6 ranking in week one. Joley Berger continued to lead the Red Hawks after finishing runner-up at the UW-Oshkosh Classic. She has already earned a pair of Midwest Conference Women’s Cross Country Performer of the Week honors this season.

All four teams return to competition on October 3 at Carleton’s Running of the Cows.
