Four Compete on Day 2 of NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

GENEVA, Ohio – Four Midwest Conference (MWC) competed on day two of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday afternoon.
 
Ripon College’s Callista DeCramer wrapped up the final three events of the heptathlon. The junior recorded marks of 4.86m in the long jump and 32.96m in the javelin before closing out the day with a time of 2:28.68 in the 800. DeCramer’s score of 4503 earned her a 14th place finish.
 
Illinois College’s Andrea Hyde matched DeCramer’s placing as she ran 12.08 in the 100 dash. Aminah Crawford of Beloit College came in 19th with a time of 12.18. The fourth competitor from the MWC was St. Norbert College’s Maddie LeBrun her took 20th in the 400 with a time of 58.34.
 
The third and final day starts at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow with the MWC will have student-athletes participating in the women’s hammer throw, women’s triple jump, and men’s 5,000-meter.
