OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – With Saturday’s 3-0 home win over Grinnell College, Lake Forest College has won the Midwest Conference women’s soccer title for the third consecutive season. The league crown is the ninth overall for the Foresters, and sixth since 2012.
Deadlocked at zero in the 34th minute, Anna Gracia netted her 13th goal of the season to give the Foresters the lead. Anna Hoffman and Annabelle Schroeder each found the back of the net in the second half to secure the win.
The Foresters outshot Grinnell 13-0, including 5-0 in shots on goal.
Standing at 17-0, Lake Forest closes the regular season with a road match at Monmouth next Saturday (November 1).
Lake Forest will be the top seed at the 2025 Midwest Conference Women’s Soccer Tournament, hosted on the campus of Lake Forest College on November 7-8. Illinois College has also clinched a spot in the tournament, while the remaining two teams have yet to be determined. The four qualifying teams will compete for the MWC Team Tournament title and the automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament.
The Foresters are seeking their second MWC Tournament title in the last three seasons (and fifth NCAA Tournament berth in program history).
