OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – For the first time in nearly a decade, Monmouth College is nationally ranked as the Fighting Scots enter the D3football.com Week 11 poll ranked 25th following the regular season.

Receiving votes in the D3football.com and American Football Coaches Association polls for most of the season, Monmouth earned its second Midwest Conference title in the last four seasons with a 58-3 home win over Ripon on November 8. After a season-opening loss at Wartburg, the Fighting Scots won every MWC contest by at least 29 points, recording three shutouts and allowing single-digit points in eight of nine conference contests. Monmouth ended the season ranked 20th in the National Power Index (NPI) rankings.

Monmouth has a bye this week before traveling to Collegeville, Minnesota for the second round of the NCAA Playoffs on Saturday, November 29. Kickoff at Saint John’s is set for noon from Clemens Stadium.
