GRINNELL, Iowa – Lawrence University is the 2025 Midwest Conference (MWC) baseball champion after clinching the regular season title with a 14-7 league record. The Vikings secured the crown by winning their three-game weekend series against Cornell College and edging out Beloit College in a head-to-head tiebreaker.
This marks Lawrence’s second consecutive regular season title and third in the past four years. With the championship, the Vikings earn the right to host the 2025 MWC Baseball Tournament, scheduled for Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10.
Joining Lawrence in the tournament field are Beloit College as the No. 2 seed, Monmouth College as the No. 3 seed, and Grinnell College as the No. 4 seed. The winner will be named Tournament Champion and receive the league’s automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
