HILBERT, Wisconsin – For the second time this season, Lake Forest College wide receiver Dom Esposito has been honored on D3football.com’s Team of the Week as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.

On a windy day in Ripon, Esposito made the most of his opportunities with eight catches for 177 yards (22.1 per catch) and three touchdowns in a game Lake Forest won 45-14. Esposito broke the game open in the third quarter with a bubble screen that saw him go 54 yards (50 after contact) and cross the field for a TD that extended the Forester lead to 24-0.

The senior currently leads all of NCAA Division III in receiving yards (837) and touchdown catches (12).

The 2026 season marks the 28th year that D3football.com has selected its Team of the Week, recognizing the top national performer at each position from the previous week. The honor represents the seventh MWC Team of the Week selection of the season: Chicago’s Russell Frye (Sept. 8), Monmouth’s Kaden Foglesong (Sept. 8), Cornell’s Joshua Martin (Oct. 6) and Lake Forest’s Ben Jones (Sept. 22) and James Jordan (Sept. 29) have also received honors. Esposito was previously recognized on September 15.
