NEENAH, Wisconsin – For the fourth consecutive week, the Midwest Conference earned national attention in football as Lake Forest College’s James Jordan was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week on Tuesday morning. 

The reigning Midwest Conference Newcomer of the Year had a big game in the Foresters’ 55-21 win at Illinois College last Saturday, as all three of Jordan's receptions in the contest went for touchdowns. He caught passes in the end zone from 3 and 16 yards out in the third quarter before hauling in a pass over the middle, breaking a tackle, and finishing off a 35-yard touchdown reception in the fourth. The sophomore also excelled as a blocker, helping the Foresters run for 250 yards on the day. 

Jordan has a dozen receptions for 196 yards and five touchdowns this season. The D3football.com Third Team All-Region 5 selection from a season ago has already caught 10 touchdown passes in just 14 career games. 

This marks the 28th season that D3football.com has selected its Team of the Week, recognizing the top national performer at each position from the previous week. The honor marks the fifth MWC Team of the Week selection this season, with Chicago’s Russell Frye (September 8), Monmouth’s Kaden Fogelsong (September 8) and Lake Forest’s Dom Esposito (September 15) and Ben Jones (September 22) previously earning recognition.
