Pioneers Ranked 24th in Third TFRI Checkpoint

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – For the third consecutive week, the Grinnell College men’s indoor track and field program is ranked in the Track & Field Rating Index (TFRI) checkpoint as the Pioneers are slotted 24th in the latest release from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
 
The Pioneers are credited with 24.71 points – all through individual events – as Grinnell is represented individually in the national rankings three times. Lucas Fadden holds the first and 14th-best times in the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash, respectively, while Ian Clawson is ranked 35th in the weight throw.
 
Grinnell hosts the Darren Young Classic on Friday and Saturday (February 13-14) in the Pioneers’ penultimate regular season meet.
