NEENAH, Wisconsin – After a record-setting weekend, Lake Forest College’s Dom Esposito was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week on Tuesday morning. 

Esposito caught 10 passes for a Midwest Conference record of 359 receiving yards and four touchdowns in Lake Forest’s victory. The senior reached the end zone from 67 yards out twice in the first quarter and from 71 and 60 yards on Lake Forest's first two possessions in the third. 

His 359 receiving yards rank eighth in NCAA Division III history for a single game. Esposito also became just the third player in Lake Forest history to record at least four touchdown receptions in a game. 

After two weeks this season, Esposito leads the nation with 434 receiving yards and ranks tied for second in the country with four touchdown catches and tied for 20th with 7.5 receptions per game. 

This is the 28th season D3football.com has selected a Team of the Week, which honors the top player nationally at each position from the previous week. This is the third MWC honor this season, as Chicago’s Russell Frye and Monmouth’s Kaden Foglesong were recognized last week.
