Vikings Maintain Top Spot in MWC SAAC Giving Challenge Standings

GRINNELL, Iowa – Campus SAACs across the Midwest Conference (MWC) contributed 474 canned goods and $518 in monetary donations during the third week of the 10th Annual Giving Challenge.
 
The top three positions in the standings remain unchanged.
 
Lawrence University continues to lead in first place, contributing 172 non-perishable items and $164 in week three for an equivalency of 500. The Vikings' Challenge total now stands at 3,585.
 
Illinois College holds second place, adding 32 non-perishables and $278 for an equivalency of 588 and a three-week total of 1,953.
 
Ripon College remains in third place with a cumulative total of 1,240 after contributing 49 canned goods in week three.
 
Beloit College climbed from eighth to fourth place after collecting $360 and 4 non-perishable items, resulting in a three-week equivalency of 924.
 
Monmouth College (785) and Lake Forest College (578) hold fifth and sixth place, respectively, despite not adding any cans or funds.
 
The standings are rounded out by Cornell College (518), Knox College (359), and Grinnell College (257). The Rams collected $5, the Prairie Fire contributed 5 non-perishable items and $71, and the Pioneers added 212 canned goods.
