Lawrence Maintains Lead in MWC Giving Challenge

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin — In the third week of the Midwest Conference (MWC) SAAC 11th Annual Giving Challenge, campus teams added to their first and second week totals by totaling 1,005 non-perishable items and $1,613.11.
 
Lawrence University stayed in first place, adding 32 cans and $95 for an equivalency total of 3,826.
 
Illinois College jumped from fourth place to second, gathering 931 non-perishable items and $494 for an equivalency of 2,225. Monmouth College slid from second to third but still collected $122.
 
Lake Forest College added six items and $431 for an equivalency of 868, good for fourth place. Beloit College also made a big leap, going from eighth place to fifth with 22 items and $356.11 in week three.
 
Grinnell College, Knox College, Ripon College and Cornell College finish week three in sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth place, respectively. Grinnell added 10 items and $70, Knox chipped in $45, Ripon did not report a Week 3 total and Cornell collected four items.
