LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2025 Academic All-America® women's soccer teams on Wednesday and Lake Forest College's Anna Hoffman was a first team selection.

Hoffman led the Midwest Conference and ranked among the top 10 in the nation with 21 goals and 52 points this season. The senior midfielder had at least one goal or assist in all but three of the Foresters' 22 games, including 13 in a row from September 13 through November 7.

Wednesday's honor is one of many for Hoffman in 2025. She was named Forester Athlete of the Week and MWC Offensive Performer of the Week twice each during the season and, when it was over, league coaches made her a First Team All-MWC selection for the fourth consecutive year and she was also a United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-Region IX honoree.

Hoffman is a double major in data science (finance and economics concentration) and economics with a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average. She received Academic All-MWC recognition each of the last three summers and was honored as the MWC Elite 20 Award winner for having the highest GPA at the 2025 MWC Tournament. In addition, she is a three-time CSC Academic All-District® selection and a Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society inductee.

The 2025 Foresters matched the best season in program history by winning their first 21 games, including eight conference contests to capture their third straight MWC championship and two more against league foes for an MWC Tournament title. They set single-season program records for most goals scored (3.91) and fewest allowed (0.59) per game and advanced the the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Hoffman is the program's fourth Academic All-America® selection and first since 2015.
