OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – The Midwest Conference (MWC) announced its Performers of the Week award recipients for games played December 15-21, 2025, on Monday.
 
MWC sports information directors nominate student-athletes for the Performer of the Week honor by sport and vote as a committee to select the winners.
 
For the winter season, Performers of the Week will be recognized every week on Monday (basketball) and Tuesday (swimming and diving, indoor track and field) once their seasons have been triggered (three MWC institutions competing) and will conclude the week prior to the sport-specific Conference tournament/championship.
 
The Performer of the Week award winners are as follows:
 
Men’s Basketball Performer of the Week
Cristian Rodriguez, Lake Forest College
Rodriguez turned in a diverse stat line in Lake Forest's 74-69 triumph at Ripon on Friday. The senior shot 7-for-10 from the field, led the team with 17 points and six assists, and added eight rebounds and a pair of steals while committing just one turnover in the contest.
 
Women’s Basketball Performer of the Week
Sophie Schlieve, Ripon College
Schlieve had a dominant performance across the box score in Ripon's 76-47 win over Lake Forest on Friday, scoring 20 points while taking down 15 rebounds, including 11 offensive, in just 20 minutes of action. Schlieve also recorded 3 steals and 2 blocks, helping the Red Hawks team to the second-most single game team steals in program history.
