MWC Performers of the Week - January 13, 2026

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – The Midwest Conference (MWC) announced its Performers of the Week award recipients for games played January 5-11, 2026, on Tuesday.
 
MWC sports information directors nominate student-athletes for the Performer of the Week honor by sport and vote as a committee to select the winners.
 
For the winter season, Performers of the Week will be recognized every week on Monday (basketball) and Tuesday (swimming and diving, indoor track and field) once their seasons have been triggered (three MWC institutions competing) and will conclude the week prior to the sport-specific Conference tournament/championship.
 
The Performer of the Week award winners are as follows:
 
Men’s Swim and Dive Performer of the Week
Luke Foster, Monmouth College
At Monmouth's tri-meet with Augustana and Coe, Luke Foster took third in the 200 backstroke in 2:14.63 and fifth in the 100 backstroke in 59.38 seconds. Both of his times rank as his best dual-meet times of the season.
 
Women’s Swim and Dive Performer of the Week
Caitlyn Stewart, Monmouth College
At Monmouth's tri-meet with Augustana and Coe, Caitlyn Stewart won the 500 freestyle in 5:33.00 and the 1650 freestyle in 19:26.58. She also swam on the 400 freestyle relay team that finished fourth in 4:04.37 with a team-leading split. Both her mile time and 500 time were dual-meet season bests.
 
Men’s Indoor Track Performer of the Week
Lance Miller, Knox College
Coming off a strong cross country season, Lance Miller looked in midseason form, winning the mile in 4:19.23 at the St. Ambrose Battle in the Hive Invite on Saturday. Miller's time is only three seconds back of his program record pace. Miller added a second-place finish in the 800 to that performance. Miller covered the track in 1:58.99, nearly one second off school-record pace and less than .25 seconds behind his career best.
 
Men’s Indoor Field Performer of the Week
Stevan Dzolic, Knox College
Stevan Dzolic, finished second at St. Ambrose Battle in the Hive on Saturday in the weight throw with a best toss of 47 feet (14.32 meters). The distance is only a few inches behind his career best from last season.
 
Women’s Indoor Track Performer of the Week
Elsie Conwell, Knox College
Making her collegiate debut, first-year distance specialist Elsie Conwell put her name in the Knox College record book. Conwell ran a top-10 time, winning the mile in 5:35.51 at the St. Ambrose Battle in the Hive. Conwell's time ranks the fifth-fastest in women's program history.
 
Women’s Indoor Field Performer of the Week
Zoe Thunhurst, Knox College
Zoe Thunhurst starred for the Prairie Fire on Saturday at the St. Ambrose Battle in the Hive meet. Thunhurst won the women's long jump with a best effort of 15 feet, 0.75 inches (4.59 meters). In the shot put, Thunhurst's 33-9 feet (10.29 meters) earned her third place. This mark ties for the 10th-best in program history.
